T cells are an essential part of our immune system. T cells protect us from infection. T cells circulate throughout the body seeking out potential dangers. When a threat is detected, T cells multiply into a T cell army that hunts down and kills the threatening cells. There are two major types of T cells: the helper T cell and the killer T cell. As the names suggest helper T cells help by activating and instructing the other immune cells, whilst killer T cells directly attack and destroy infected cells.
At Tee Cell we partner with charities, community organisations, campaign groups and small local independent businesses to raise funds by producing Helper Tees. We also partner with struggling artists, designers and musicians to supplement their income by printing their designs as Killer Tees. Unlike other print on demand companies all sales are made directly by our partners. We operate an equitable profit share model so our commission is never greater than our partners proceeds.
Tee Cell / ACSG
Tee Cell is a trading name of Artists Community Support Group CIC (ACSG). ACSG is a non-profit organisation based in East London. ACSG was formed during the first COVID-19 lockdown in April 2020 initially selling t-shirts to provide funds for community groups supporting victims of the coronavirus crisis.
